This time, oven-baked cabbage with minced meat and cheese for dinner.

Young, fresh white cabbage is best suited for this dish. It should be baked in the oven until it softens.

To make a meal that is enough for a family of four, two adults and two children, you will need:

1 small white cabbage

300 gr. ground pork ham

1 head of onion

2 cloves of garlic

Half of 1 small red pepper

1 carrot

Olive oil

Salt to taste

Favorite spices for minced meat

1 tablespoon of tomato sauce

Grated fermented cheese

We produce as follows:

We cut fresh white cabbage into approximately 2-3 cm. thick slices. Place in an oiled baking dish, sprinkle with salt, sprinkle with oil and bake in an oven heated to 150 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. While the cabbage is baking in the oven, we prepare the vegetables and meat. Heat a little oil in a pan, add chopped onion and pepper, fry for a few minutes. Add the minced meat, press in the garlic cloves, add your favorite spices, and grate the carrot with a beet grater. Stir and fry for a few minutes, at the end add a spoonful of tomato sauce.

Place two to three tablespoons of the prepared vegetable and meat filling on the slices of fried cabbage, and sprinkle grated cheese on top.

Bake in an oven heated to 180 degrees for about 12-15 minutes.

Cabbage with minced meat and cheese is ready. I served it simply with tomatoes, but if you want it to be more spicy, potatoes would also be perfect next to it. Delicious!
