Chicken, split peas and vegetable stew

Our family members especially like stews prepared in clay pots. This time we made a chicken, split pea and vegetable stew. All diners are satisfied, full and happy!

Although there are four members in our family, we always make three cups of stew. Both children eat the contents of one cup in a friendly manner, and I can't finish the whole thing either, only the husband eats a full cup of the prepared stew.

To prepare three cups you will need:

500 gr. chicken filet

3 handfuls of split green peas soaked overnight

9 small potatoes

3 large carrots

3 red onions

6 cloves of garlic

900 ml. broth

We are preparing chicken, split peas and vegetable stew:

Cut chicken fillet and potatoes into cubes, carrots into slices, onions and garlic cloves into pieces. We put two chopped cloves of garlic, chopped chicken fillet, carrots, potatoes, chopped onions into each clay cup, add a handful of split green peas and pour the broth. (300 ml for each cup)

Cover with lids. We put it in the oven and bake it for about an hour at a temperature of 190 degrees.

We eat directly from cups or bowls - it's more convenient and tastier, if you like you can season it with sour cream. Delicious!
