Lately, when I'm cooking for my family, I've been cooking almost everything except soups in the oven. I still can't be happy about the new oven and its function "baking with steam" - both fast and a little healthier. Today on the dinner table were delicious oven-baked chicken steaks with carrots.
To cook 6-8 steaks, you will need:
300 gr. chicken fillet
1 large carrot
1 egg
2 tablespoons of natural flavored yogurt (can be replaced with mayonnaise)
1 tablespoon of potato starch
2 cloves of garlic
Half a teaspoon of yellow curry
Half a teaspoon of ground sweet red pepper
Chopped dill
Chopped onion leaves
We are preparing chicken steaks with carrots:
Finely chop the chicken fillet, grate the carrot and garlic cloves on a fine grater. Beat in an egg, add yogurt, add starch, chopped onion leaves, dill, ground sweet paprika, yellow curry, sprinkle with salt if necessary, mix well and leave to stand for at least half an hour.
We heat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees:
With the help of a spoon, we form pancakes/steaks, which we place on a baking sheet. (If the baking tray tends to attract baked goods - use baking paper).
