Boiled potato pancakes with cottage cheese

Great-tasting boiled potato pancakes with cottage cheese are loved by both children and adults.

To make boiled potato pancakes you will need:

5 medium-sized potatoes

1 egg

50 gr. potato starch

50 gr. of flour

A pinch of salt

For the filling you will need:

200 gr. cottage cheese

1 tablespoon sour cream

A pinch of salt, dill

Oil for frying

First, cleanly shave and wash the potatoes.

We cut them into cubes, put them in a pot, sprinkle with salt, pour water and boil for about 10-15 minutes. or until cooked. After boiling, drain the water, mash with a mortar and leave to cool.

While the potatoes are cooling, we prepare the filling:

We mash cottage cheese with sour cream, salt and spices in a bowl.

We are preparing pancakes:

Add one egg to the mass of mashed potatoes, add potato starch, flour and knead everything well. With wet hands, we form patties into which we put the prepared curd filling, fold and form round pancakes. Fry in heated oil on both sides until nicely browned for about 10 minutes.

Serve with sour cream and sprinkle with fresh or dried dill. Delicious!
