Cottage cheese with oatmeal

My children's favorite dish is boiled cottage cheese, this time I thought of improving it with oatmeal and I was not mistaken, the taste was great!

To prepare four servings of cottage cheese with oatmeal, you will need:

500 gr. cottage cheese

1 large egg

3-4 tablespoons of oatmeal (I made it with "Dobele" Eco oatmeal)

3-4 tablespoons of potato starch (+in addition, you will need to add 1 tablespoon to the water in which you will cook the curds.)

1 tablespoon of flour (for surface)

A pinch of salt to taste

For boiling water

Serve with melted butter or sour cream

We produce as follows:

Put cottage cheese, potato starch, oat flakes in a bowl, sprinkle with salt, add an egg, mix well. We sprinkle the surface of the table with flour, take a small amount of dough, form a not-thick sausage from it, and cut it with a knife about every 1-2 cm.

Boil salted water with one tablespoon of potato starch in a pot. We put the curds one by one into the boiling water. Boil for about 3-4 minutes after they rise to the surface.

Today I served it very simply - just with a melted butter and herb sauce. Delicious!
