When the bread expires, it's a great time to bake such toasts. These cinnamon-scented banana toasts are really delicious, kids love them, and adults are happy to eat them for breakfast too.
To make six toasts you will need:
6 slices of white shaped bread
1 banana
Pinch of sugar (optional)
1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
50 ml. milk
1 egg
A pinch of salt
Powdered sugar
A little butter
We are preparing toasts:
We take three slices of bread, put a sliced banana on them, cover with other slices of bread. In a bowl, beat an egg with milk, a teaspoon of vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, and cinnamon. Dip the sandwiches in the batter on both sides and place them on the baking sheet. (If the pan tends to attract baked goods, use baking paper).
We heat the oven to a temperature of 190 degrees:
Spread the sandwiches on both sides with a very small amount of butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in a preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes.
When serving the toasts, I sprinkled them with a small amount of powdered sugar, next to them I served sliced bananas and my favorite berries - raspberries.
