Oven-baked brussels sprouts with carrots are delicious eaten alone and are best eaten as a side dish next to meat or fish dishes. I'm glad that both my boys really like these little cabbages and are not disappointed to find them on the dinner plate.
To prepare the dish, which is enough for 1-2 diners, you will need:
1 large carrot
12-14 Brussels sprouts
2 cloves of garlic
A little olive oil
Half of 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
Salt to taste
We produce as follows:
Peel the carrot and cut it into slices. We wash the Brussels sprouts, peel off the ugly leaves, cut them in half. Place sliced carrots, halved Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet, pour a little olive oil, add grated garlic, brown sugar, and sprinkle with salt.
We heat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees:
Bake in a preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes. (I baked in the oven using the steam function).
