For this year's Mardi Gras celebration - a delicious mold cake with bananas and cottage cheese, which was especially fun to make together with the children. We baked the molds and greased the cake the night before, and today, before serving, all that was left was to decorate with berries and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

To bake twelve large (over the entire pan) castings, you will need:

2 large eggs

7-8 tablespoons of flour

200 ml. milk

1 tablespoon of sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar

A pinch of salt

2 tablespoons of butter

1 teaspoon grated lemon zest (optional)

For the cottage cheese filling:

200 gr. cottage cheese

2-3 tablespoons of natural flavored yogurt

2 large bananas

1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar

1 tablespoon of sugar

In addition, you will need:

Strawberries

Kiwis

Blueberries

Powdered sugar

We prepare the dough for cast pancakes:

We beat the eggs together with simple and vanilla sugar, butter. We pour flour, pour milk and mix until a smooth, beautiful mass. Add grated lemon peel, sprinkle with salt, mix. We leave it standing.

We bake cast pancakes:

I don't add extra oil to the pan when baking cast-iron pancakes. I just heat the pan well, pour in less than a ladleful of the prepared batter, distribute it very quickly evenly throughout the pan and cook the pancakes for about 2-3 minutes on each side. This amount of dough made 12 large thin molds.

We are preparing the cottage cheese filling:

We mash cottage cheese, together with simple and vanilla sugar, one banana. with a blender and mix with natural flavored yogurt.

We layer the cast cake:

We take the mold, spread it with the prepared curd cream, put the second mold on top, do this until we spread all the curd cream. When applying the curd cream, you can also put a few slices of banana on the mold. We put the prepared cast cake in the refrigerator for at least an hour, and preferably overnight.
