Just a fantastically delicious lunch, enjoyed by the whole family, especially children - potato, cottage cheese and chicken dumplings served with sour cream and butter sauce.
To prepare 22 cupcakes, you will need:
- 200 gr. fat cottage cheese
- 3 not very large potatoes, boiled and mashed with their skins
- 1 egg
- 150 gr. boiled chicken fillet
- 3 tablespoons of potato starch
- Salt to taste
For the sauce:
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 3 tablespoons of sour cream
- A little chopped dill, onion leaves and salt
- In addition, you will need 1 tablespoon of potato starch for cooking
- We put cottage cheese, boiled and cooled mashed potatoes in a bowl, add chopped boiled chicken fillet, potato starch, sprinkle with salt, add an egg and mix.

- Boil water in a pot.
- Pour water into the pot, add a spoonful of potato starch.
- We boil.
- From the prepared mass, we form small balls of the desired size.
- I made them a little bigger than one bite, so I cooked them for about 5 minutes after they rose to the surface over medium heat.
- If the potatoes are not starchy enough so that the dumplings do not "dissolve" during cooking, I recommend additionally rolling them with potato starch.
- While the dumplings are boiling, prepare the sauce - melt the butter in a pan or pot, add chopped dill and onion leaves, add sour cream, sprinkle with salt and heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
- We carefully add boiled potatoes, cottage cheese and chicken kukulaičius to the sauce.
