Fresh cabbage soup with corn, spinach and chicken

Today is soup day with us, and do you like soup or do you often cook it?

Before, there was no day without soup. There are already more than 80 different soup recipes on the blog, and now somehow I make soup only when I really feel like it, at best only once every two weeks, if not less often. The children have grown up, the "times of soups" at home are over, when after eating a portion, they would ask for more... Now for lunch, they prefer to order some kind of meat steak with vegetables than a bowl of soup.

This fresh cabbage soup with corn, spinach and chicken was very well received by the children, so I am sharing the recipe.

To make a small pot of soup, enough for a family of four, you will need:
A drop of oil
One piece of chicken breast
One head of onion
Two cloves of garlic
One carrot
About a cup of chopped fresh cabbage
A handful of spinach
Five-six tablespoons of corn
A handful of chopped onion leaves
A handful of chopped dill
600 ml. Water or broth
One tablespoon of spiced vegetable mixture
A few peas of allspice
Salt to taste

We produce as follows:


Heat the oil in a pot, add the chopped chicken, grate the garlic cloves on a fine grater, sprinkle with salt and fry for a few minutes. We add chopped onion, carrot grated with a beet grater, and fry for a few minutes. Pour broth or water. Add the spiced vegetable mixture and cook for about 10 minutes from the start of boiling. Add chopped dill, onion leaves, cabbage, spinach, corn, allspice peas, mix and cover the pot with a lid and cook on medium heat for about 8-10 minutes.
