Toasts with bananas and cottage cheese

Very delicious, cinnamon-scented toast baked in the oven with bananas and cottage cheese.

Just perfect for brunch, especially on the weekend. Instead of plain cottage cheese, you can cook with grain cottage cheese. It will be no less delicious.

I didn't add much sugar to the cottage cheese filling, just a teaspoon. The sweetness was enough for us, but if you like it sweeter, add more sugar.

To make five such toasts as in the photo, you will need:

  • 10 slices of bread
  • 150 g. cottage cheese
  • 1 large or 2 smaller eggs
  • 60 ml. milk
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 tablespoon of natural flavored yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • A little butter
  • In a bowl, together with a teaspoon of sugar, half a teaspoon of cinnamon, and a tablespoon of natural flavored yogurt, we mash the cottage cheese.

  • We cut the crusts from the bread slices and lightly roll each one.
  • Spread five slices of bread with the prepared cottage cheese spread, and place slices of banana.

  • In a bowl, beat the eggs, together with milk, a little cinnamon and sugar.
  • We soaked the sandwiches in the milk and egg mixture.
  • We put it on a baking sheet.

  • Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15 minutes, turn over, brush with butter and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Toast with bananas and cottage cheese is ready, sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar before serving, delicious!
