A simple but very tasty idea St. For the Christmas table - herring with carrots and peas.
Herring, which can always be found on the festive table. When making this herring, I usually use frozen peas. You don't need to boil them - just scald them with boiling water, wait a few minutes and you can pour them on the herring.
To make 2-3 servings you will need:
- 1 head of onion
- 2 boiled carrots
- 2 strips of herring fillet
- 1 handful of frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce
- A pinch of salt
- A little oil

We produce as follows:
- Heat a little oil in a pan.
- Add chopped onion, sprinkle with salt and fry a little.
- We add chopped boiled carrots, mix and fry briefly.
- Add a tablespoon of tomato sauce, mix and fry a little more.
- Put the fried carrots with onion and tomato sauce on a plate, let it cool, and put pieces of herring on top.
- Blanch the frozen peas with boiling water and pour them over the prepared herring.
Herring with carrots and peas is ready, delicious!
