Fresh apple and herring salad with canned peas, pickled gherkins, boiled eggs and leeks.
If you don't like leeks, it can be replaced with red onion.
In my family, only I like various herring salads, so I often don't make a very large amount. To make a salad like the one in the photo, you will need:
2 hard-boiled eggs
1 large apple halves
4-5 tablespoons of canned peas
2 small pickled cucumbers
2 small pieces of herring fillet
1 small piece of leek
1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
Chopped dill
We produce as follows:
Put a chopped apple, hard-boiled eggs grated with a beetroot grater, chopped leek, pickled cucumbers, herring fillet, canned peas into a bowl, add a spoonful of mayonnaise, sprinkle with chopped dill and mix.
Apple and herring salad is ready. This salad is delicious on its own, but it can also be used to fill puff pastry baskets by simply adding the prepared salad to them.
