Delicious borscht with ears. In addition to meat, eggs and dairy products, which are perfectly suitable not only for the Advent period but also for St. For the Christmas table.

To make a pot of soup that is enough for a family of four, two adults and two children, you will need:

  • 1 head of onion
  • 1 large carrot
  • 300 ml. canned beets
  • 1000 ml. broth
  • A little oil
  • Salt to taste

To prepare the ears you will need:

  • 2 boiled potatoes
  • 1 glass of flour
  • A little oil
  • A quarter of a glass of water
  • Salt, favorite spices to taste

First, we prepare the ears:

  • Mash the boiled potatoes with a pinch of salt, set aside.
  • We pour flour, add water and knead the dough, at the end of kneading we add a little oil.
  • We roll out the dough on a floured surface, press out circles.
  • Add a teaspoon of the boiled potato filling and press to form ears.

  • Boil in slightly salted water for 3-4 minutes from the beginning of rising to the surface.

  • Pour lightly salted vegetable broth.
  • We add pickled beets and favorite spices.
  • Boil for about 10 minutes.

  • Sprinkle with chopped greens.
