On the last night of this autumn, the children were sleeping soundly in their beds, and I finished preparing this year's Advent calendar tasks for children with a cup of warm coffee and some delicious home-baked gingerbread cookies.
This year the advent calendar will be the same as last year. Simple tasks await the children, similar to last year, on weekdays when they have to go to kindergarten and school - simpler, but on weekends when we can devote more time to them - a little more complicated, such as decorating the room, baking Christmas cookies, decorating the Christmas tree Christmas tree and the like.
Last year, my boys weren't at all upset when they didn't find candy in the advent calendar, so there won't be any candy this year either. I'm glad that the children enjoyed discovering the cute Christmas-scented gifts such as warm socks, sweaters, bedding, hidden by the gnome. Similar gifts await this year as well.
Warm pajamas. If you have read my previous blog entries about the advent calendar, you already know that I start looking for gifts for children at the end of summer, so I ordered these very cute and warm Carters pajamas for my children in September, I was lucky to buy them at a really big discount, it was about a month to wait for them.
Molds for cookies. My children and I love to bake cookies, so I think the moose and old brainless cookie cutters brought by the gnome will make them happy, and to make baking cookies even more fun, the gnome will add colored sprinkles. Christmas dishes. When the advent period begins, it is urgent to pull out the existing Christmas dishes from the section, which we successfully use up to three kings. We didn't have bowls on purpose, but the dwarf took care of it and now we will have them.
Our advent gnome also brings such gifts as Toothbrushes, toothpaste, packed in beautiful packages soap. This year, children will be waiting shower gel with the heroes of the beloved movie.
Christmas socks. There can never be too many socks! We received warm woolen socks as a gift from Sandra's MG knitwear. I believe that my little feet will not get cold with them. Children will also be delighted with simple, thinner Christmas stockings with Santa Claus, an old brainless man and deer, as well as festive accessories - glasses.
Both of my kids love to play with legos, so if the boys are good, they will have some too Lego figures.
My children and I love to read various books, we try to spend at least one hour a day for this. These Books that smell like Christmas from Usborne Lithuania, it can be said that they will be one of the first ones available in English, so I really hope that they will make my little book lovers happy. We will definitely share our impressions about them on the blog in the near future.
